  • To inform your employer about health and safety issues or concerns and Consequences that may occur such as injuries and therefore compensation claims.
  • To contact HSE or your local authority if you still have health and safety concerns a feel you are at risk an accident occuring and leading onto injury.
  • To join a trade union and be a safety representative trying to ensure less accidents within the workplace.
  • To a rest break of at least 20 minutes if you work more than six hours at a stretch
  • To an annual period of paid leave.

  • About risks to your health and safety from current or proposed working practices around the workplace.
  • About things or changes that may harm or affect your health and safety, or that could cause injury. Such as working with asbestos or in noisy environments that could lead to industrial deafness
  • How to do your job safely and aviod accidents around the workplace. This should include preventing vibration white finger and similar injuries
  • What is done to protect your health and safety.
