Injury at Work

Workplace injuries can be prevented and therefore no claim will be needed!

What you need to know to prevent an injury or injuries within the workplace

Keeping safe and avoiding risks to your health at work are obviously important issues. It's up to your employer to make sure that any potential accidents or risks to your health and safety are properly controlled. You need to be aware of your own responsibilities around the workplace, however and this will help you play your part in improving health and safety in the workplace. Both workers and employers have a legal responsibility to look after health and safety at work together. Workers who contribute to health and safety at work, are safer and healthier than those who don't. Employers should not treat disabled workers unfairly. They should make reasonable adjustments to ensure that you are not disadvantaged in your workplace.

  • Whether you are permanent or agency staff, or a contractor, you need to be aware of issues that affect your health and safety at work.
